October 2006 - Los Angeles / San Francisco Interviews Completed

 

Ignite was busy this Fall with 6 new interviews shot from LA to SF. The participants included Hilton A. Green, (Asst. Director to Alfred Hitchcock, Psycho), Christopher Coppola, (EARS XXI New Media Studios), William Poundstone, (Author of the Big Secrets series), Geoff Tate, (lead vocals, Queensryche), and Mark Mothersbaugh, (lead singer DEVO, founder of Mutato Muzika). We discussed with our experts topics ranging from subliminals in music and film, to the scientific aspects of how subliminal content
affects the subconscious.

 

 

June 2006 - Boston and New York Interviews Completed

 


During our eight day trip to the East Coast, we shot six key interview segments for "PROGRAMMING THE NATION?". Among the participants who were involved were MIT Professor of Linguistics and Media Critic, Noam Chomsky, (at left), NYU Professor, Mark Crispin Miller, and Rolling Stone Magazine Senior Editor, David Fricke. Streaming interview clips are available for viewing at the film site, and more are on the way.
 

 

 

March 2006 - Marty Collins to Co-Produce

Ignite is pleased to announce the addition of Co-Producer, Marty Collins - founder of Santa Cruz's Digital Media Factory, (DMF) - on our feature documentary, "PROGRAMMING THE NATION?". Marty brings to the project over 37 years of experience in management, creative development, and production in television and motion pictures. He will also be contributing as Director of Photography and DMF will serve as the post-production facility for the film.
